Help:Article Wizard
The Physical AI Identity article wizard helps you prepare an article using a personal draft before requesting community review. No special experience with wiki markup is required, although the preloaded outline opens in the source editor.
Before you begin: Create an account or log in. Anonymous visitors cannot create pages under the wiki's current permissions. Read Help:Creating an article for the full checklist.
Step 1: Choose a suitable topic
A suitable subject is directly related to the encyclopedia's scope and has enough independent, reliable published coverage for a verifiable article. Examples of subject categories include robotics methods, published standards, historically documented systems, notable research projects and established engineering concepts.
Avoid creating a promotional page for your own company or product, an unsourced biography, a speculative invention or an article based solely on a vendor's marketing materials. A press release may establish what a company announced, but does not independently establish its claims.
Step 2: Check for existing coverage
- Search exact and alternative names.
- Check existing article titles and related categories.
- Inspect wanted pages for useful gaps, but remember that a red link does not itself establish that a topic deserves an article.
If the article already exists, improve it instead of creating a duplicate. See Help:Editing.
Step 3: Find and read sources
Use multiple credible sources where possible. Prefer scholarly books, peer-reviewed research, published standards, authoritative technical documentation and independent reporting appropriate to the claim.
For technical claims, check the exact edition of a standard, the date of a study and the operating conditions under which performance was measured. See Help:Reliable sources and Help:Citing sources.
Step 4: Create your own draft
Enter only the subject title in the box below (for example, Simultaneous localization and mapping). The form adds the personal draft prefix automatically. Do not type User: or a full page address.
The new page will be in your User:YourUsername/Drafts/Topic name area. This is a publicly viewable working draft, not a private document or a published encyclopedia article. Save it regularly with a meaningful edit summary. If you enter a title that already exists in your drafts, MediaWiki opens that page for editing and does not reload the outline.

Step 5: Write the article
Use the preloaded outline as a starting point, not as evidence. Replace the sample lead text and delete unused sections. You may add a suitable PAI infobox once the information has been verified.
A complete first draft should usually include:
- A neutral lead that defines the subject without promotional claims.
- Well-organized sections explaining the subject, background, mechanisms, applications and limitations as appropriate.
- Inline references after important factual statements.
- A References section using
{{PAI Reflist}}. - Relevant internal links, with categories added when ready for publication.
Do not invent citations, copy passages from sources or publish AI-generated claims without checking them against the cited material.
Step 6: Check and request review
Before requesting feedback, read the article aloud, check citations and remove unsupported claims. Use the editorial checklist.
Change the banner at the top of your personal draft from {{PAI Draft status|status=draft}} to {{PAI Draft status|status=submitted}}. This places the draft in the review category.
Then use the review-request form to open a discussion with a link to your draft and a short note explaining what you want checked. Changing the banner alone does not notify a reviewer.
Step 7: Resolve feedback and publish
Answer questions on the review discussion, correct factual issues and improve the citations. A reviewer may suggest changes or consider the draft ready for publication. The review is advisory under the wiki's current permissions; it is not an automatic content approval mechanism.
When ready to publish, remove the draft-status template and placeholder comments. Use the page's Move command to rename User:YourUsername/Drafts/Topic to Topic in the main namespace, if your account's permissions allow it. Check for an existing article first; do not overwrite it. If the destination exists or you cannot move the page, ask at PAI:Help desk.
After moving, check citations, article categories, the infobox, and any redirects. Update your review-request thread with the final article link.
