Welcome to the Help desk. Volunteers answer questions about editing, sources, templates, and wiki rules. For questions about the content of a specific article, use that article's talk page instead.
Ask a question
Before you ask, these pages may already answer it:
- Help contents and Help:PAI Article System — editing and templates

- PAI:Community portal — tasks, guidelines, and FAQ
How it works
- Type a short title and click Ask a question. A new section opens.
- Describe what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened. Link the page you mean.
- Sign with
~~~~. - A volunteer will reply. You will get a notification if you have email enabled.
- Questions with no activity for 14 days may be moved to the archive.
Answering questions
- Be friendly and patient; assume the person is new.
- Link to the relevant help page rather than only quoting it.
- Add a short reply and sign with
~~~~. - If a question needs an administrator, point to the PAI:Community noticeboard.
- Archive old threads to
PAI:Help desk/Archive N, keeping the newest 20 threads on this page.
